Welcome to Wee Bead Studio and thank you so much for stopping by!
To give you just a bit of a background on how Wee Bead Studio came to be, it all started back in 2010. Haha, yes it was that long ago, when I was first introduced to Polymer Clay. A friend had a little fundraiser for breast cancer awareness and included in the goodies we could choose from, were some polymer clay magnets with the breast cancer awareness ribbon on them.
I thought they were so cute, and wanted to learn more about what this polymer clay was all about. Let me tell you, when I want to learn more about something, I go head-first into it. I bought books, bought online tutorials and started creating art with polymer clay.
I really enjoyed how creative I could be when it came to using polymer clay. As time went on, life got busy and working with polymer clay just didn’t happen.
Fast forward to 2022, and here I am back creating beautiful and unique small batch polymer clay earrings.
It really makes my heart happy to be creating once again.
What’s not to love when you can be as creative as you want, doing something you love and making it your dream business!
I would never have imagined that I would be here.
Creating clay earrings, going through all the fun and sometimes frustrating experiments to get everything looking just right when I make my earrings.
I honestly wouldn’t want it any other way, being able to take what comes to mind, and make them into some fun, custom and unique earrings that you can wear any day of the week.
Hi there, I’m Claire 🙂
I’m the one woman show behind Wee Bead Studio. I send most of my days working on new ideas for earrings and then trying my best to manifest those ideas into actual earrings. Some days are better than others, but I wouldn’t want it any other way!
I have spent a majority of my adulthood trying to figure out what I should be when I grow up. I went from going to University and getting a BA in History – Medieval History is my jam, to college and getting a diploma in Computer Business Information Systems – where I found a passion in Web Design. I then bumbled my way through dead-end jobs to pay the bills and in 2022, I decided enough was enough.
I quit my 9-5 job.
Now I create and I couldn’t be happier!
